A/c Problem

for some reason my AC is shooting out hot air, i checked the freeon and its full. do anyone of you guys know why its doing this? i just wanna get some input before i take it to the damn dealership, summers coming up and with the leather seats that most def wont help lol

How did you check to see if there is enough refrigerant in the system? I didn't think you could tell without pro tools. The most common cause for this issue is a hole in the condenser. other things to check is for a blown fuse, did you at least hear the compressor kick in?

Mine did that too last summer. I took it to the dealership, and they fixed it under warranty. It wasn't the A/C itself, it was the temp switch or something... and I think there's a tech bulletin out on it, but I'm not sure?
