One day my a/c in my car stopped workin, and i live in cali...and a/c is a must here. i mean my fans are blowing and a/c illuminates on...but no cold air ....any possibilities to do it yourself fix its? these auto shops pay to much just to get it diagnostics and repairs on it Midas told me it could be my compressor or a leak somewhere in on of the hoses........ but it beats the stealerships prices though. Any suggestions plz on what i shuld do?

 

The number of possible causes is quite large and it sounds like you've never done any A/C work. I suggest you take it to a shop that does A/C work, let them diagnose the problem and fix it if you can afford it.
