How can they stand there and tell you there is nothing they can do?
Did you duplicate the problem with the car at the dealership?

Service manager said: Do you know how many calls I got today for squeaking brakes ?
Me: Umm no.. I don't work here.
Him: Been on the phone all day with people calling about brake squeal. It is because of the cold weather.
Me: No, we had a few very warm days last week and the problem was the same. Zero difference.
Him: BS.. BS..BS..

I called Mazda directly. Told me the dealer must be correct and they have no way of checking the problem.

I could have bitched and bitched until 'something' was changed.. but I just could not stand it anymore.. so I ordered the new parts.
