Blown motor ???
I'm new to my RX8. It is a 2005 6Spd and lately it has had the following problems.
- Rough idle
- worse fuel mileage
- Loss of power in mid range
- and last of all the other day i floored the car and it sounded like detonation or misfiring so I thought that was the end of this car and now I drive it again and it isn't making that noise but then again I'm too scared to floor it. But if it was the motor blown or seals would it still drive smooth at lower RPMs?
Any input will be greatly appreciated.
Cheers

What's left... compression testing, good luck.
