Hello everyone. I'm new to posting on threads. I have an issue and that there was a tremendous amount of rain which flooded some roads. I have a cold air intake and I guess I sucked up water into my engine. My mechanic said that he removed the plugs and saw water and he couldn't manually turn over the engine.

What can I do? Am I screwed and have to get a new engine? What are my next courses of action? PLEASE HELP. I just got the car 4 months ago.

 

Tell your mechanic the RX 8 doesn't have a hand crank like the 1920's Model T.

Just pull the plugs and turn over the car.

Search for flood procedure.

Clean you MAF and Intake.

Sell that piece of crap intake and buy a Racing Beat intake.
