Bleedin clutch

alright well just like everyone else here, were all having transmission problems. i drive an 04 with about 50k miles on it. new engin at about 32k miles. i never had any problems with my tranny but recently its been getting worse. I heard from many people that its healthy for rotarys to redline at least once a day. i make sure oil is good. i keep engine bay clean i try everything. now recently when i tried shiting from first to second i get a grind anywhere above 7krpm. i didnt think much of it. i talked to a friend of mine about it and he said well whens the last time you switched tranny fluid? and i said well i havent since i bought the car. which was in july of 2009. so i got royal purple synchromax and swapped my tranny fluid. everything seemed fine. i tested a redline and shifted like butter. 8k 7k 6k rpm everything was good. then a few days later i started grinding at 7krpm and i was like wtf. and days after days it got worse.grind at 6k and now a weak grind at 5k. so i talked to my buddy again and he said that his corvette acted the same way and asked if i had a hydraulic clutch. so i said yeah i do. and he told me that bleeding the clutch and getting new clutch fluid stopped his grinding. so i wanted to get your guys's opinions on if bleeding a clutch would help my situation.

Not saying this is it, but search and you will find that people have had issues using RP synchromax in the tranny.
Most end up back with OEM fluid or some Redline(of various weights).
Take a look through this thread as an example. https://www.rx8club.com/showthread.p...49693#poststop but don't just read the first couple of post, read it all and then some other searches.

look ill be honest with you i have a gt 6speed wit 63k on it, recently within the 3 past weeks i had a grinding sound when i shift above 7 took it to a mechanic and he told me it was a tha tranny fluid so i changed it and got no good results and took it to someone who had a similar problem, he told it was the sincros of my tranny so i was like wooshhh how can i get them until he told me he had a used tranny with all the parts in good condition so i changed them and my car run perfectly fine. hope that helps you

its by the way of driving that trannys get bad engineers didnt focus on that; search for a synchro saver after you fix the grinding sound dont loose your time and start thinking that bleeding your clutch will help

everywhere ive heard that synchros cant be replaced individually. That if any synchros go bad, the whole transmission has to be replaced. Im in a weird situation zoom you can probably relate. i switched to RP syncromax and i thought everythin was good, then things got progressively worse. Im thinkin of bleeding clutch, buyin a new clutch line, i looked at that thread and its hard to see whether redline or RP is better, really really confusing. I can consider buying a tranny but maybe as a last resort. i also dont think installing a tranny would be easy.
