Bass Feedback w/ Turbo Timer

I'm not sure how many people out there have a turbo timer and amplifier installed, so you may not know what I'm referring to. But when I turn the car off, and the turbo timer starts up, I get a really huge bass feedback. The bass will start low, and gradually build up until it sounds like its about to break the windows. Then when I turn the TT off, it goes away. I'm not that technically inclined, so I'm not sure what exactly is going on. Anyone out there know? I found out that when I turn down the gain on the amplifier, the problem goes away, but now I have a lot less bass. Would a capacitor solve this problem? Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Did you get your amp turn on and the turbo timer power from the same location? If so, move the power wire for one to another location, or install a diode on the power line to the turbo timer and it should fix it.

Sounds like noise from the power line is getting to the amp/speaker. Does the amp have a power line filter?

I think the power from the amp, is connected directly from the battery (I think this is what you mean). I didn't install it though, I had circuit city do it when I first bought the car. The power from the turbo timer is coming from the ignition, underneath the steering wheel.

The power from the amp comes from the battery, but the remote turn on probably comes from your cigarette lighter and the ACC wire on your turbo timer might connect there as well. Let me know exactly what wires you have hooked up on the turbo timer to what wires in the car and I'll let you know where to place the diode.

I followed PURNRG's DIY on the turbo timer. On the ignition connector, the yellow wire is connected to the red 12v constant power on the TT, the black/yellow wire is connect to the green wire on the TT for the "on", the blue wire on the TT (for the accessory power, or ACC) is connected to a relay that I installed on the footwell panel on the passenger side. This relay is attached to the black/yellow wire on the keyless immobilizer unit.
There is also a brown wire, which is connected to the wire on the parking brake, and a gray and purple wire which are not used. A lot of wires I know, but I hope that helps. Thanks.
