TPMS question
I just had my stock wheels polished and now have a front tire problem. I lost the drivers side front tire on a little trip. The tire was replace with as near as possible "like" new tire as the orginal. Now I had another reduced pressure problem on the new (same side) tire on the way home. When I arrived home the new tire was near flat but held pressure when I refilled it.
The TPMS never showed a reduced pressure. I am wondering if that can be my problem - can the TPMS allow leakage? If it is missing or damaged would I not get a light on the dash?
Yes we checked the tire to rim seal at the tire shop - Yes we checked the stem for leakage. At the speeds that I drive I am very concerned.
