How embarassing, I flooded!

Happened to me this morning. I went out to start my car and turned the key and released before it came to life. After that it took some encouragement.
The good thing about this story is that this was my Protege5 and not my 8. I'm approaching 60k miles and am probably due for a tune up (Plugs especially) and this colder weather will draw battery amps down. I'm taking pleasure in this unfortunate circumstance in the realisation that piston motored cars with decent maintenance can flood too.
Paul.

I have been extremely satisfied with it though. Really a grear car in it's class. Quite the handler and somewhat stylish.

The A4 a few years ago was notorious for flooding also. My dad flooded my grandmother's sentra when he moved it so that he could wash it.

any car out there can be flooded. contrary to the hype, its not just a rotary thing...its just not as much of a PITA to unflood a boinger.
