Hey guys,

Sorry if this has been asked a thousand times, but searching "white smoke" brings up several thousand threads ;-)

So basically, if I rev high at WOT, then change gear: I get a Big Bang and a small puff of white smoke. The car also smells like its decat! (It's not though)

What could it be? Bad cat? Need a reflash?

White smoke out of the exhaust is usually caused by burnt coolant fluid... Or condensation from sitting outside overnight. What year is your car and how many miles does it have? Does it show a CEL? How do you know it's white, do you see it when you start the engine let it idle? When you described the smell, what exactly do you smell that's burning out of the exhaust?
