Auto tranny jump

Well I noticed a small problem today while going on a sprint. At about 7k-7.5k in 2nd, as I shift over to 3rd the tranny will give a jolt and shoot the RPMs up about 200-400 and then shift. It obviously has something to do with the tranny but I'm just wondering if it's just that gear or if it's just a sign of bad things to come :O
Any feedback would help

Has the fluid level been checked and filled as necessary; has the transmission ever been serviced? I reccommend a fluid flush and see if that doesn't solve your problem. If not, have a transmission shop do a pressure check.

That's good to hear. I noticed mine does that as well when going from 2nd to 3rd in manual mode. If I get on it in auto mode, it only does it sometimes. If you let off the gas at just the right time, it grabs 3rd no problem and shifts nice and smooth. I was thinking it was a sign of bad things to come, but I'm glad others with an auto experience the same thing.

Awesome, I'm not the only one. Honestly though the only time it gets pretty scary is when I'll shift at redline in 2nd to 3rd and it'll jump up close to 8k. But im guessing no doubt the reason it does that is because of our "slushbox". I can live with the downfall
