Any cause to worry?

Noticed something weird today maybe its normal maybe its not.

I was on the highway doing about 70 in 6th and let off and it felt like the car rocked forward then back. I have seen issues with the motor mounts and a TSB or Recall, are these typical symptoms.

Also, when at a redline here and there when not moving, if I shift into first I hear a thud. This normal?

Thanks for the help, and yes I did use the search button...

all standard shift cars will do that, the mounts will cause a rough idle and a hesitation around 30 after decell then immediate WOT

rocking back and forth is most likely the TSB for mounts, but the dealership will call it 'hesitation'.

you need to use their keywords or they wont fix it

The key words are actually best recited to a Mazda service tech embedded in the following phrase: "Obiwan, is that a rocket in your pocket or is the force with you?"
