ABS / DSC light removal

Hi,

Have done a search but could not find a definitive answer. Having just swapped the suspension out (for the 3rd time ) my ABS and DSC lights have illuminated on the dash. I have checked all the wiring and it is ok, so I am guessing this is down to the current stance where the rear is 2" higher than the fron (not got around to adjusting them yet, it won't be staying like that!)

Would these lights clear with a simple ECU reset ? (disconnecting the battery for 20minutes) or would they need to be cleared at a mazda dealer?

Cheers!

Jimmy

Probably just need to start the car, turn the wheel from lock to lock, let it warm up, then turn the car off and start it again. Lights should go away. This happens whenever you disconnect the battery.

+1. After disconnecting the battery, the computer needs a refresh on the car. Turning the steering wheel back and forth accomplishes this.

thanks for the responses but sadly it's not that

the "slippy car" sign is permamently illuminated rather than flashing as is the ABS light, it's down to me either disconneting the abs connectors at the rear or due to the abnormal ride height after fitting the new suspension (2" higher at the rear at a guess!)
