Or do what I did as OEM design acts like a scissor so even with the new harness it against cycling on that 90 degree bends.
So I extended that "hinge" part of the wires and make it like a loop of spring. Iso it will distribute stress evenly.

Replace the damage with some sexy-flexy silicone, solder it in and know it won't break no-mo.
what should I do then?

Hey everyone, first post . Been reading lots. Hopefully I don’t post wrong and get eaten alive 😂
I bought by 2010 back in November. It’s not my daily as our weather this time of year generally consists of ice and snow.
just realized my 3rd break light is non existent…. I was happy to see a post on this thread with another who had a delete.
was this a aftermarket trunk? It’s not bondo as I tested it with a magnet
just looking for feedback as I couldn’t find any aftermarket trunks with the light delete

Anyone have any problems with a short to ground and draining their battery from this?

I searched the threads for shorts because mine drained after 2 weeks of not driving.

Got all good fuses and relays, new alternator, new starter, new battery... No even enough juice to light up the dash.
