Angry 04 rx8 bunch of problem need help please

Ok guys have a 04rx8 I just sealed the engine . I took the pulley off to put the engine in from the top. Now car won't star it takes a while to start once it's tuning on stay on for long I try to give it gas it will die. Check eng is on and flashes gives me p0336 crank position sensor and miss fire cylinder 2 and random miss fire. Also car won't rev pass 4 it's very slow. Got new coil packs crank sensor now I can't figure it out. Would starter have something to do with timing issue since it works with fly wheel? Please help

Did you reset the ES Sensor? ( brake stomps) The PCM needs to be reset after replacing the engine

The car could be in limp mode if it won't rev past 4K rpms....the MOP is an often found cause

If it will rev immediately after starting...then won't after about 6 seconds the MOP is where I would look first..........

I would double check all of your electrical connections. I would also like to know more about the process of sealing your engine.

MOP sensor? Did you replace the pump? Or reset the switch?

Or was it the MAF?

dannobre's initial diagnosis regarding OMP appears correct.
It looks like he replaced the OMP sensor and fixed the issue.

I'm just trying to figure out what " sensor" he replaced. The position switch isn't available separately and the MOP itself is $1200 new

I didn't know the position sensor was only sold as part of the entire OMP assembly.
Can't believe the price of the pump. It's about half the price of a reman motor.
