0.5 bar oil pressure

Hi all, I've recently installed prosport gauges including an oil pressure gauge. It works fine peaking at around 5.5 bar at high rpm and WOT. However once the oil's all warmed up at about 80 C oil pressure at idle is about 0.5 bar, does this seem alittle low to you? I've read a number of posts with people reporting around 1-1.5 bar at idle and only one at 0.5 bar, no one commented on this being abnormal in the thread though?

Many thanks in advance

about 5.5. Which seems fine. I can't see or feel any leaks around the filter and oil consumption has been normal.

Yeah that's about right. You are fine, according to the FSM it should be:

Oil pressure (reference value)
350 kPa {3.57 kgf/cm2, 50.8 psi} [3,000 rpm, Oil temperature: 100 °C {212 °F}]

If it was too low at idle then the factory gauge would light up.

Oil weight and it's condition will play a role (slightly). Are you running 5W-20?

Mobile 2000 10w-40 semi synthetic. I'm not too worried given that figure thanks, it seemed to be around there during normal driving and I will double check later on.

That's a good weight to run. I wouldn't worry.
