Would this procedure work for the rx8? because i had to take my cat out and put a straight pipe on there and my car is running like crap because it is dumping way to much fuel in there and my check engine light is on

How do u know its dumping too much fuel ?

and its the front O2 sensor that gives o2 feedback to ecu. So that might be a problem ?

Let's have some more specs on your car. MT or AT. Miles? Could be the usual coils and plugs.

he just replaced his own engine.
if you are dumping fuel--check your injectors--make sure they are ok and hooked up right. check all your vacuum lines and the maf--do the check list
