using 2-stroke oil (not premixing)
I was reading up the oil premix thread and I was curious if anyone has tried using a high quality synthetic 2-stroke oil (instead of 4-stroke engine oil) as your main oil source, not for premixing. I don't know if this has been asked before, but anyways: if you use 2_stroke oil (which is design to burn without leaving residue) instead of regular motor oil, wouldn't it help keep the engine cleaner, and create less carbon build up? or is 2-stroke oil not suitable for lubricating the internals (bearings) in the engine?
If KY and Astroglide is suitable for lessening frictional forces during intercourse, then it must work for rotary engine internals, right?

hahahahahaaha I knew this was gonna end bad.... I was curious about what the differences between the two types of oil where, so I was hoping someone knowledgeable could jump in and give some info about it. too bad so many people can't wait to call someone stupid for being curious about something. its not like I'm suggesting using canola oil..... it would be interesting if mazda changes they lubrication system so that instead of using the oil from the sump, they would just have a separate oil tank for the OMP. That way you could run a lighter grade synthetic for the internals and use a 2-stroke oil type (burns cleaner) for lubricating the apex seals. sort of like a oil injected 2 stroke engine.

There are two or three threads which helped me the most. First was the premix thread. It's super long, but you will get the whole story. Next was the possible failure thread, and that has tooooons of good info. There was another one in there somewhere, but I can't remember what it is.

in case you are too stupid to search, I be nice just this one time, Mazda "knew" that its better to separate them 40 years ago. but the MARKETING department back then said no one will want to buy a car like that. so thats how OMP system was born.
I guess everybody here would agreed to the marketing department. most idiots are stupid/lazy enough NOT to check their oil level, you expect them to be able to tell the difference between 2 stroke/4 cycle engine oil & fill them up ?

Oh man, are you talking about that hot new product nobody has even heard about? I think it's an adapter or something that allows you to run 2 cycle through the rotor housings. It's in early development, so it's everybody's secret!
