I sent him a PM earlier today when he didn't come back to edit the post. The forum glitched, it's not supposed to allow empty posts, but occasionally it dumps the posts content when submitting. I see it about once a week randomly. I'm sure he will fill us in.

 

LOL OK well obviously God hates me and is determined to send me to hell LOL.

It wasn't am empty post - at least 95% confident. I did a preview before posting but there is always fat finger syndrome.

I will not bore you with the details of the nightmare but I may do later on.

Apologies for tor this if t was my fault but suspect it may be a phpBB bug.

I tried to post the message when I was falling asleep (not drunk before you ask). Finished it in the morning. Got a warning that a "token" had expired. Told me to push the back button. I did. Previewed and submitted. It was something like that.

In any case I will start a new thread.

Pls feel free to delete this thread. Grateful if you could leave it up for 24 hours so those who think I am an idiot can see it.

You may wish to copy this to phpBB. This is an unusual circumstance and it may well be a minor bug (I speak as someone who failed to post the original message as I was coding a messaging system in PHP at 3 am!)

No, you didn't fat finger it. Even a token expiration shouldn't result in a blank post. It's a bug that I see randomly from random people, averaging about once a week. I think it happened to me once too. Nothing to worry about.
