tpms disable thread broken

Like many others, i am looking for a way to disable my tpms light while my winter wheels are on. when i searched, everyone links to this thread http://here but the thread is invalid according to the page that comes up.

Can anyone shed some light on this issue?

thanks in advance

That is good thing, the only valid way to make that light go away is my thread. I am not trying to be funny, no other member has disabled the TPMS and even the starter of that thread said it might not work for most.

to be honest, i really hate that idea lol. Nothing against you personally, but i would much rather find a more complete solution than just covering it up. Again this is not a personal attack, just my opinion for what i want on my car.

joe: there is currently no way to actually disable the TPMS. Sorry man, but Expo's method is pretty much the only universal way.

Joe: this subject was discusses over and over the first few years the RX-8 was out and not one single person was able to duplicate MM disabling TPMS. His "DIY" involved going behind the dash and cutting a wire. Not something one should do hoping it might work. People have gone so far as to place 4 TPMS sensors in a section of sealed PVC @ 32 PSI. Nobody here is telling you not to give it a try, but the subject of disabling TPMS has been looked into in depth.
