AZ Stupid Question? -- Clutch

I recently realized I'm at more than 100k miles on my original clutch. Is there any harm in waiting until it starts to slip or is it time for replacement on general principles?

I'm at over 135k miles on my original clutch and it works still fine. The answer depends on how you handle the clutch, not so much on the mileage.

Well, at my current use it could be another 8 years before I hit 135k. They used to say a clutch was good for 50-60k...

That doesn’t stop people from going Stage FullTard on a replacement though.

Until it starts to slip leave it alone, and keep up on brake/clutch fluid maintenance.
