Hey guys,wish I could've posted this on the right forum,but I can't make new threads there :/
Anyways my question is that I am buying a 2004 rx8 6 speed,and the clutch is completely dead,I'm replacing it before I buy,and I just got the transmission off tonight,and I found the clutch was worse than previously thought,the friction material is torn off the rivets of the clutch and there are chunks of clutch,and a whole ton of fiber fuzz everywhere,and I'm wondering if this could have caused any kind of damage to the gears inside the tranny? I'm most worried about the flywheel gears,but I will have that checked out when it gets resurfaced Monday.
