New to club and to the rx8 craze been reading alot last 3 or 4 weeks on here and decide to buy my first. Sadly its an automatic couldnt quite find a good six speed in my price range. Putting new coils plugs and wires on soon as they arive as well as doing a complete flush tomorrow on all three systems. 118000 miles on it. Smooth no power loss compression test came back high 7s. Car is in great condition other then the transmision is shifting really rough. seems to not want to down shift at all. Runs much smoother when i shift semi auto via paddle shifters. Is this a big concern for now i need the vechicle to be drivable till i can get a 6 speed for myself i will be giving this one to my wife. She is already a fan. And only drove it 10 minutes. I will replace the transmission if need be. But im hoping not. Any help is apreciated it may take a few moments to respond still surfing for information elswere as well as doing some part pricing
