Thumbs up strut bar removal

Does anyone know if the strut bar in the engine bay is attached with some kind of threadlock on the bolts? and if I remove it will I need to get more thread lock to put it back on?

If I remember correctly, it's a 12mm nut.

If your looking to replace it you should check out the thread titled thanks under the Canadian forum. You will find a picture of a Triangular strut bar from cpracing. I had the mod installed on my car--what a difference in handling. You can order one at cpracing.ca. It's easy to install.

oh, it's just an ancillary structural peice, which benefits your suspension under only the heaviest load. so, in winter especially (with the low speeds everywhere), it's not a big deal if you had to leave it off
