strut bar removal
Does anyone know if the strut bar in the engine bay is attached with some kind of threadlock on the bolts? and if I remove it will I need to get more thread lock to put it back on?

no, you can remove it easily
its just two bolts on each side |
thank you :) I was afraid to try and then screw up something- I really doubt these things can drive without one

If I remember correctly, it's a 12mm nut.
13-19.5 ft-lbs |
If your looking to replace it you should check out the thread titled thanks under the Canadian forum. You will find a picture of a Triangular strut bar from cpracing. I had the mod installed on my car--what a difference in handling. You can order one at cpracing.ca. It's easy to install.
