Strange rasp on decelaration, FINALLY FIXED!!! :)
Hi
I have a weird rasp sound that come from my 231 rx8 on decelaration.
The noise only occurs when my foot is off the gas and the fuel injectors goes into standby mode. Once the revs decrease to below 1500rpm and the fuel injectors switch back on, the noise stops.
Anyone got any ideas? does their Rx8 make a similar noise?

I decided to remove the crappy toyosport stainless steel manifold and fit a standard manifold back on the car.
Wow what a difference in sound, from a sounding like there was gravel rattling around in the exhaust to a completely smooth sound
