Went with Prosport gauges on a features/cost basis, hard to beat.

Three in a center dash pod and three in the ashtray.

They light up blue/white for daytime (perfect match for our dash illumination) and amber/red at night (when the lights send a signal to the gauges). White wire lights 'em white, orange lights them orange, duh!

Reason for this post is I found an interesting and un-documented feature of these gauges -I wanted control over which color, so mounted both wires to a three way switch, amber, white and off in the middle; however, the off position provides a great night time setting, very muted red, with bright pointers.

If the car is started with no power to either the white or orange wire, you get the dark red setting, but once the switch is set to amber or white, it stays that way, the red doesn't come back when you set it to the 'off' position.

Yes, BrettMan, it was a boost gauge - kinda old pics from my last motor, I suck as a tuner!

not crazy when boosted when you consider you dummy gauges. hell i have three aftermarket gauges and im n/a for now

 

I didn't want any gauges and now I have the Cobb, Good Box, dual vent pod, and triple gauge pod

 

Boost - EGT - Water Temp

Oil Press. - Oil temp - Fuel Press

Yes I like my Prosport Digitals too. 2 years with one gauge going out. Under warranty.

It's not nice to criticize a mod.

 

I'm not criticising him. I did half expect some dumbass to accuse me of attacking a mod, which would be even more preposterous, but then nothing surprises me much anymore. . Rather, I'm challenging his decision to post it here rather in the Interior accessories forum with all the other Prosport gauge threads there. I was pretty much intending it as a humorous too.

If I was going to criticise him it would be for starting a new thread rather than tacking it on to an existing Prosport gauge thread, but I didn't do that. I just opened it up and the first thought was, "Why is this posted here?", I suppose because I had a higher expectation considering who the OP is because he's not a n00b. Calling him one was part of the humor point.

There are no daytime pics, the gauges are back on the shelf until I find a good way to tune a turbo.
