Standard sport springs with Koni Sport Shocks

I've made a big miscalculation here. I just had some Tein H-Tech springs fitted and a set of Koni Sport shocks. I was expecting some drop from the Teins but the problem is I didn't realise that the low pressure Konis also add to the drop even further. So the end result looks good but it won't clear any of the speed bumps in my commute to work and the car is bottoming constantly on the goat tracks that Sydney calls roads...

So I'm thinking to go to a new set of standard springs and keep the Konis - but that should still make a small drop because of the Konis themselves. Anyone have this setup - Standard (Sport Spec) springs with Konis? Got a pic of the drop? Thx.

you do go over speed bumps at an angle right? your not just trying to mob straight over it slow are you?

The struts/shocks do not support the car. The cars ride height is determined by the spring rate and spring height. Replace the springs with something that does not have as aggressive a drop and you should be OK.

Yeah well that's what I thought too except the evidence to the contrary is rife. I replaced the springs with Teins H Techs and lost 2 Inches rear 2.5 inches front, not the .8 and 1 and a bit I was supposed to lose.

The other thing also you find peeps here saying the Konis cost some height as they're a low pressure shock. Certainly I think there is something to this as the whole process started because my rear shocks were kaput and yes, the rear of the car was sagging as well.

The speed bumps in my area are ridiculous in height its true but if I can go back to a 1" drop all over I can probably get by - hence the original request in the post.
