Speed: you should have came out to this...would have been fun to have you on this dyno. AF ratios were logged, I can request them from Steve...

I thought about it... just didnt see the need since I just had 12 pulls done less then 3 months ago.

also I want to stick with the same dyno for any changes I make to be the most accurate. (also try to pick the same type of weather)

looks like the outcome is that the recall flash is GOOD (????) I think i was the only one out there with pre-recall and I came in dead last

.....and yes I have K&N v.2 intake and HKS exhuast so lack of intake/exhaust isn't the cause (is it?) Unless HKS just sucks *** *ducks and covers*

Interesting to see hp and torque numbers on my one 2nd gear pull. Big drop in torque, but HP was about the same. I beleive the torque on the 3rs and 4th gear runs was close to 138-140...where as second gear pull was at 100.

I found that last chart comparing a stock 8 with the top 5 very interesting . Notice that there is a significant difference right from mid range to redline .

How old are your coils / plugs - the way your curve breaks up mat high rpm certainly points to that ....

Coils / plugs do seem to be playing a role here. Last week I met up with Newcastle and we replaced the following parts:

- New NGK plugs
- Racing Beat wires
- New Coil Packs
- Clean out RB air filter.

Both of us dyno'd over 190 hp. I believe XdeedubbX also changed coil packs and he too was above 190.

I was comparing the RB flash'd cars to my graph yesterday and I noticed that the dips in power are much smaller with the cars that have the RB flash. Definitely gives you something to think about...

note: Murix also had the RB flash

his shows 3rd gear topping out at about 94 mph and his dips in power are also much less apparent as well.

i think you got the right idea about the rb flash, jorge.

as long as it didn't slip it was fine. w/ wheels it depends on the rotational mass and unsprung weight compared to stock. you basically want less.

Yea, Razz does have the Mazdatrix wires. I saw them when I popped the trunk to get his car all hooked up for the dyno runs.
