Cool So whats the best additions i can add to me rx-8???

so i just got an 04 rx-8 sport. what is cheap and pretty legit that i can add to this car?
im looking for sum outer appearance thigns that would make it nicer as well as some led's for the inside.
whats your opinion on this?
whats the best thing i should get/add?

best thing is dont do anything.

enjoy your car as is for a while. trust me one day u gonna miss the way it "originally" look like.

im contemplating on building a custom box for my 2 12" subs ibn the trunk so cargo net might be outa the question. i plan on putting them in the center where it indents down. and straight up. so cargo will be all around it besides near the spare tire.


and iv been looking at those side lights that are yellow and changing them to white.

well if you're looking for a system i built my box to fit flush again the rear where is slims down in the back where the exta little holder is that flips up in the back seat is

I think this is where the spare would go but i dont' have that .....it looks good.....everyone likes how it's custom and just seems to fit there

ya thats where my spare is. im still thinking about putting them on the sides of the trunk but seems to complicating with their size... so prob gona put them in the indent.

if you want cheap outer appearance things, get some clear corners, some eyelids, window tint....etc.

oh and lowering springs..not as cheap as clear corners, but not ridiculous either

clear corners?
what exactly is that?
im prob gona get the clear sidemarkers once i get up the 80$... if thats what your talkin about

I would start with window tint, clear marker lights, LED bulbs for the markers and parking lights. If you want LED's for your interior they are also a nice add. If your gonna do a audio setup, 2 12's might be a lil overkill. 1 10 would be sufficent. I would then work my way from them simple mods to things like exhaust, intake, lowering springs, wheels. It all depends on what you want to do with it. And congrats on your purchase.

Colored fender vents add a nice touch, imo. I've seen them available pre-made but you can DIY.
