I learnt by coincidence that not all 4 spark plugs are the same on the RX8. I now wonder if the injectors are also different? Between two engines that I have, I have 4 yellow injectors and 4 pink ones. Which ones go in which port? which injectors are the best selection for the 2004 manual model?

if all 4 of your spark plugs are NOT the same. you have a problem

4 spark plugs in total. 2 leading should be the same heat range and type. same thing goes for 2 trailing.

For injectors, its about the same case as the spark plugs. Just look it up in service manual.

 

6 ports have 6 injectors.

 

Yeah I'm lost of how yo have 8 difffent injectors 2 diffterent sets of 4 and ur car has 6 injectors to begin with....or you have the 4 port and did not tell us....please post location

 

Sorry for the confusion. I have 4 ports not 6 on my engine. The spark plugs for the 4 ports ARE NOT ALL THE SAME. Two of them are one type and another two are another type. the Two trailing plugs are both the same and the leading two plugs are the same.

I have two engines from two cars that have been used as a pool of parts to make one good one. Between the two engines I have 8 injetcors. These are 4 pink ones and 4 yellow ones. I do not know which order they came out or from which engines they came. One of the 2 engines is a 2005 and the other is a 2004. To make the best set of injectors, which ones should I put in which port?
