If you need a light to tell you when to shift......... you need an automatic

Where do you plan on installing this?

Your gonna take apart the dash and drill a hole to install an idiot light?

The car beeps for you, has one of the biggest tachs on a car your going to find. You want a shift light? How much research have you done into this? Do you know what rpm to set the shift light at?

Shift lights are more important if you have a helmet with a radio in it. Being you can't hear the vehicle as well when your on the track. If your driving down the highway or even have an open face helmet its not necessary. On a side note if you really really just have to have one because you think it adds HP and looks cool then there are hundreds of companies that make them. You can get them on data modules like dash hawks, or programmable tachs will usually have that option. You can replace your steering wheel with progressive leds.
