second motor blown
So my new motor is dead... there is still 6 months on my warranty, will Mazda do a second replacement (assuming there are still engines left) anyone know the facts on that?

If you have a warranty then yes they will replace it. It is 8 years or 100k miles whichever comes first, the reman engine also has a 1 year / 12k mile warranty on it from when it is installed. Just make sure you have all your oil change and maintenance receipts like the first time and it should be easy.

i should clarify, there are still 6 months left on the original 8 year/100k warranty. Soldier i did not know they reman'd them, i read that Mazda officially stopped manufacturing new 13b's a couple months ago so i assumed the worst...

You should be good then if you have maintenance records, the 12 month / 12k warranty only applies if you were to buy the engine and have it installed out of warranty. My first reman lasted 74k and they had to put another one when my car had 96,000 miles on it and they didn't give me any problems. My last reman only lasted 30,000 miles but when it failed I was out of warranty so the last engine was on my dime

I believe manufacturers are obligated to stock most replacement parts for 10 years.
