Thread bump! I want to know how you fit this? also what material your using for brackets. My Fan #2 burned out today :/ fan 1 was running and i got to the highest temp 221F Yikes!

 

I have yet to try it, since plans changed and I will stick with original fan setups.

but as far as I remember (I did some homework), you need new S2 radiator upper brackets for both sides as it's a little wider. the fan mount is different as well so u gotta keep that in mind. and also u gotta rewire it with relays (its not hard, if you know how of course) to keep the speed right.

 

^i just got my Hands on a fal 420 2nd hand for like 250 bucks I will post pics as usual

 

Yup just did the fal420 swap highest temp was 208 and that's me messing around for like 20mins. Normal driving around 185-195 a/c on

 

Thats my normal temps with stock fans, shrouds and motors. Actually it never really goes over 207.

 

Vouching for the FAL setup, I live in a tropical humid weather and this is by far much more efficient setup. Sidenote, this is with a KOYO V-core rad too, lol

 

Dude temps in NY was 83F or so today?

My outside temp is 95F-103F today!

when it's night time my temps come to 180F-190F Outside temp 80F right after the fans shut on/off at 190F

 

I'm running FAL 490's 1 step up from 9ks setup. 3k cfm. Its a ******* tornado under my hood when they kick to high.

Highest temp recorded? It's whatever I set the fans to turn on high for lol. Never goes over.
