Ryco Oil Filter
I was just curious as to whether anyone has tried using the Ryco oil filters in their RX-8?
I bought one of the Z436 models which is supposedly meant for the 8, but then read some posts on here about the risks of using non-genuine parts.
I bought my 2004 RX-8 second hand, so I'm not going to be voiding the warranty or anything like that if I do use the filter. I just want to know whether I'm better off just going and getting a genuine filter, or whether there really isn't much to worry about using this one? Obviously filters are generally fairly cheap so it doesn't matter much about just getting another...but has anyone tested the Ryco ones?
