[QUOTE=MazdaManiac;3399068]And you want to lug around an extra 9 pounds of oil for what reason, exactly?
-Better sustained heat dissipation. 'sides, peeps haul extra oil around in their trunks (I don't, but ...)
Which would put it squarely into just about every speed bump in Phoenix and Vegas.
-Wow, 1/4" makes that much difference??!! Those are some serious speedbumps!!
We don't have "g-loaded" oil starvation on the rotary.
-Granted it would have to be max lateral G's and sustained, but the potential is there.

OK, I have owned an RX8 for about a year now. I have experience in FI egines, mostly straight 6's. Now im looking to possibly turbo my first rotary. Iv done all the simple bolt ons (Exhaust, intake, cat delete, headers, ect...) I have just a few ???'s on turboing my car.
Whats gonna be a safe oil pressure and oil temp when running FI?
Iv heard and read that these engines can take boost, but not more then 10psi for the most part???
Is Greddy the way to go?
And anybody with an allready FI rx8, what kinda gains did you end up with? and with what amount of PSI? And what was the final $cost$ after everything was said and done?
Any other advice would be apreciated. Positive advice that is...
