Hey there im not much of a mechanic so i figured ill ask before spending to get the towed to mazda.

im just looking for input on what the problem might be and how much it could take to fix the car up.

Here it is:

- Engine starts but weak battery
- The car does not want to gear in. The clutch is fine supposedly but just does not want to get into the gears.

i know it aint alot of info but thats all i got.

i was thinking it might be a bad or broken gearbox or the transmission?

Well you posted it in the tech section when it should be in the Troubleshooting section.

My first guess at your problem is the **** forks are bent or the syncro's are toast.

Could also be an issue with the clutch throw out bearing or clutch fork as well ...

Either way it's going to cost you to get it diagnosed if you're unable to do this kind of work yourself.

replace the battery urself, or just buy one at aap or az kind of store they will install it for u free.

check clutch pedal

 

Oh yeah I forgot about the bracket issue

 

Hmm maybe i should just pay that michanic i know 50$ to meet me there and check it rofl. The all thats needed is a comp test. Car used to be. VGA car so ill be using it on track.
