rx8 dies when coming to a stop?

rx8 dies when coming to a stop?
Hey all, this is my first time posting something so I apologize if it's in the wrong thread or something.
I just got done putting in a couple pulleys today and i restarted the kam or whatever it's called by doing the brake trick and that didnt work so i disconnected my battery for about 15 min then tried it again. Still every time i start driving it runs fine but when i start slowing down my car dies almost every time and if it doesn't it will die while in idle at a stop... I'm not sure why!?
