Hi, does your RX-8 have parking/driving lights? Mine does but only sometimes... I wonder why? Does anybody have the same issue as me? They come on for 1 second when I lower the e-brake and comes on sometimes when I drive.

 

Yes...my car has the headlights and parking lights that are required by law. All kidding asside though, are you thinking of like daytime running lights or something?

i was disconnecting my car battery quiet often as my 8 wasn't in use and it was the original factory battery

with the number of times i disconnected the battery,i think the computer has reset the auto sensing drive/park lights

Now when a drive under a overhead bridge my lights come on automatically , then off again in sunlight

i never had the auto sensing lights activated before i kept disconnecting the battery

Not sure how to disable the auto sensing function though

 

Yes I meant the light that turn on when driving during the day. Does the RX-8 have these lights?

 

Depends what region your RX8 is from.

 

These are the daylight running lights your talking about. Mine doesn't have it.
