A friend of mine wants to put lower compression (from Rx7) rotors into his renesis motor. But im not exactly sure if the side seal placement will be a problem. Or anything else.

I know everything that needs to be done to put renesis rotors into the older 13b's. But i never looked into putting older rotors to the newer motor. And i dont have any spare parts to check for myself at the moment...

you can put renesis rotors in the older 13b but not the other way around

Try it, and watch your rotor housing turn into trash in matter of seconds !

is it only a problem with the housings, or is there a problems with the ports? not having the compression ring???
