resealing calipers?
I want to have my calipers powder coated. To do this i would have to pull all the o rings and seals out. I have reseal kits for all 4 just wondered if it is pretty straight forward as blowing air to remove the piston? Any tips?
Thanks

There are a few threads on how to do it, I think Ash8 had the best one for the front, the rear, not so much data. I will know for sure in a few weeks.
Basically, the seal is easy, the dust boot is a pain. Rear brake is more complicated because you have to screw the caliper in.

Update,
I just changed the seal and boot on the rear. I had the parts to rebuild the rest, but it looked like a royal pain. They were not leaking, so I left them alone. Half of the parts look like they go in the piston, you will not be powder coating that, no worries. The other half go into the caliper body. If you choose to pull those out, you will need a long nosed set of snap ring pliers at a minimum.
