Purchased rear aero flares and i need a diy for them. Do i have to take the bumper off?

 

I just cut the tabs off and some 3M double sides taped them along the bumper with 1 nut in the wheel well... it holds well.

but otherwise, yes, you have to take off the bumper. on the inside of the bumper there are some markings to drill out for a clamp nut and to stick the tab in.

 

I was confused about the tab. Are you suppose to cut a notch out?
