remote acces problem

FL remote acces problem

when i closed and opened my 04 rx8 he lights blinked and the interior lights turned on, now for some reason the interior light comes on but the outside lights dont blink anymore, does anyone know what could be the problem?

could also be the hood of the car, check that also

Open the trunk and see if you can spot any connectors. Whether or not you do, close the trunk firmly and see if the lights will blink.

i checked the hood and the trunk all the connectors are connected and everything closed firmly but the lights still dont flash, could there be anything else?

turn on the key, close the doors see if the door open light still on?

when the lights dont blink it means your alarm is not arming. that usually means one those items are not latched closed properly. something is either bad at the contact points or perhaps you alarm really has failed. take it to the dealer.

have you changed any electronic or electrical components recently? battery, lights , stereo/amp/speakers ?

could be that my alarm has failed, but i havent changed anything recently

finally fixed it, it was a small metal piece in the hood latch that broke off
