I have just bought an rx8, it turns out its a japaneese import, are there any differences between the japaneese cars and outs, I had heard the japaneese ones were more powerfull? Also the is something missing from the top of the dash board, is it a sat nav? I also cant seem to find where on earth you put cd's. The clocks have been set for miles per hour and miles etc but the radio wont go past 90.5 is there a way this can be altered as well? Any help would be appreciated.

 

No help at all? Im guessing there should be a cd autochanger somewhere, but if there is I cant find it?

 

It would probably help if you took a picture of the dash area, include it all, center left and right, so we can see what you are talking about. I have a few guesses, but rather than guessing it would be better to see it.

There are quite a few differences between "JDM" and "USDM", if you are in fact from the US. There is no indication where you are in the world. Edit your profile and put your location in.

The MPH/KPH Miles/Kilometers is built in switch, so nothing odd there.

Nothing "more powerful" about the JDM models vs matching models/trims/transmissions elsewhere. Any difference is simply a difference in the measuring stick, so to speak.

Most of the JDM differences vs USDM are also similar to the changes for the UK, being right hand drive (RHD), and mostly an orientation thing rather than actual differences.
