WA K&N air intake installation question

I successfully installed the air intake filter to my 8 but i have some questions about the pipes(see attached picture). It is touching the AC compressor ( i think ), and it is kind of loose at the end where it is attached to the intake tube.

questions:
>Is it safe touching the AC compressor? (I'm worried it will melt)
>should i put hose clamp on the loose end (intake tube) ?

Any input will be very much appreciated.

Regards,
Chris

Buy the way the AC compressor you are referring to is actually your alternator.
