red house on dash?

I'm sure this is a dumb question but I'm going to ask anyway. There is a red light on my dash that looks like a house that has come on a few times and I can't find in the owners book what it is. Can anybody tell me please?

Are you sure it is not the "Low Washer Fluid Level" indicator?

It's the low coolant light. I see this light come on when it's cold outside (like, -15 Celsius or below) and the car is cold. Once I start the car, it goes away after a few minutes.

I'm going to get it checked next week.

Check your coolant level...with the mileage that you have...it would be normal for it to be down a bit. If it's a lot...get to the dealer, and look for leaks under your engine. Common area for failure is the seals between the housings

Is there an easy way to check the coolant level? I had a hard time since the measurement indicator is on the side and is partially blocked by the battery, do you just have to look down there and give it your best guesstimate?

speaking of that engine coolant light. the other night i was in a parking light meeting up with a few friends for a little roadtrip. one of my friends was sitting in the car with me and i was showing him how the rotary is smooth all the way up to redline. so i maybe went up and down 2 or 3 times and then let it go back to idle. when it reached idle the engine coolant light went on for a good 5 seconds then shutoff. the car was warm at the time. why would this happen for such a short amount of time???

Dip, you sucka!

Couldn't be 'low washer fluid' - that is not for the US market.

We get the little white plastic ladder! Dip, dip!
