I just got a rear view camera, and was wondering on the install. I wanted the unit to automatically switch to the rear view camera when I put the car into reverse, and also to be able to switch it to the camera input via switch whenever I wanted, like while driving. I have a 2006 RX-8 w/ Stock Navigation. There's got to be a way to do this, right? any suggestions on where to mount the camera? I was thinking of the rotary symbol, but was wondering if it's too low. Thanks!!

 

Try the audio forum. And do a search, someone did this a while back and used the key hole in the real tail light.
