RE: Removing the 9000 rpm limiter
I have searched but not found a way to get rid of the stock 9000 rpm limiter. This causing me trouble when i dyno test my RX-8 on my RotoTest becausse i must go 500 rpm higher than the dyno rpm. Is there a kit or could i disconnect the rpm limiter myself? Thanks in advance!

Interceptor x takes control of fuel and spark so you can set the limiter where you like .
Racing Beat flash adjusts limit to 9300 rpm

I don't know when my power starts dropping becausse i can't dyno any higher than 8500 rpm becausse of rpm limiter cutting in. On the road it goes really quick up to 9000 rpm even on 3rd gear.

if you rev to 9k on the road then how is it possible to only rev to 8500 on the dyno?
it seems like the its the dyno software or the dyno operators problem and not the car.
do you have an auto or manual transmission?
if its auto, then you dont want to risk revving so high anyway cause it wasnt meant to take such abuse or increase in power over a certain degree.
if its manual then you shouldnt have any problems with hitting 9-9.5k
