Rate of Oil Consumption

It seems I have not been burning as much oil as before. I am little worried, and I was wondering if anyone knows how to determine how much oil should be used.

Over the years I have heard so many different opinions, all probably changing depending on year, and ecu flash.

Any Input?

Should I just go to the premix thread and start reading?

Another reference point - I made a round trip of about 1,000 miles mostly running about 80 and used 24 oz.

Here's another datapoint. I averaged about a quart every 1800 miiles over the last 4 months but that's included a couple of track days and some spirited driving. But on calm Interstate driving I've seen no appeciable oil use.

I might start premixing.

I think driving style may have affected it as I do a lot of city driving now. More than I sued to, and theres just not many opportunites to WOT. So maybe that is the case.
