radiator fans not turning on?
I just noticed that my radiator fans are not turning on. I have a water temp gauge and an oil temp gauge and they are running on the higher side of operating temps and the fans aren't cycling as usual.
the fuse looks ok but I'm currently not running with my air-con belt with the air-con switched off in the cabin.
the fans look ok and I have no reason to suspect the fans have failed. it is more likely to be the wiring.
any suggestions or experiences?

AC Delete ?
but it shouldnt affect the FAN's operation.
try to turn the fan with your hand and see if it spins freely, if it does, it might be wiring problem. if not, ur fan might be already dead.
Notice that even if ur fan turns on, if it does not run as "fast" as it used to be, u will STILL have an overheating problem (like me)
U can test them out by connecting it to some 12 dc source. but u better be careful not to short anything. u can find the info in service manual.
oh also, not sure about what AU map has but on US side, stock fan turns on at 97 and 102 Celsius (Fan #2 and Fan #1)

I haven't deleted the AC yet but have to rearrange things to get it working again.
maybe I didn't quite get to those temperatures. I was over 90deg water in the return pipe and 90 deg oil.
